Political Parties Warned For Using Ex-cop Picture In Uniform

KOTA BAHARU, July 10 (Bernama) -- Political parties have been warned against using pictures of police personnel in uniform on buntings to promote their ceramah.

Kelantan police chief Datuk Jalaluddin Abdul Rahman said this was to safeguard the police's image and avoid the force from being seen to favour any political parties, he added.

He was commenting on buntings with the picture of former Tapah district police chief DSP (R) Abdullah Omar in uniform being displayed to promote a ceramah organised by the Rantau Panjang PAS division in Kampung Pohon Buluh, Meranti, Pasir MAS at 9pm Tuesday night.
