KL To Host Unesco Chair In Bioethics Seminar In Sept
KUALA LUMPUR, Jun 27 - An International seminar of the Unesco Chair in Bioethics, which will be held here on Sept 20 and 21, will delve on various issues on biological research and its applications.
Among others, the participants will compare notes plastic surgery, infertility treatment, organ transplant, genetic services, bioinformatic data handling, vulnerable human subjects and the law of war, National Defence University of Malaysia (UPNM) Dean Faculty of Medicine and Defence Health Maj-Gen Prof Datuk Dr Mohd Zin Bidin.
The seminar will be organised by the newly set up Malaysian Unit of the Unesco International Network in Bioethics Chair, said Mohd Zin, who is also head of the unit.
The Malaysian unit of the Unesco International Network in Bioethics Chair was launched here Wednesday.
